Simple Update

We have been busy which tends to make time seem like it's flying by. I'll start with a Maddie update. She will be starting school on Wednesday, August 11 at Oak Grove Primary as a first grader. Had we stayed in Arkansas, she would be starting Kindergarten, but the cutoff dates are later in Louisiana, so they tested her and said she was ready for Grade 1. We are very proud of her and how much she has learned before even beginning primary school. She is also very excited about starting school.

Pressly is growing so fast. She is almost 4 months old and really starting to show more personality. She is usually happy so long as she has a clean diaper, a full tummy and is fully rested.....that's all.

Ben is loving his job with Capital One and I am loving being a stay-at-home mom. We also are buying a new house in Prairieville, LA. We close on August 16 and move in on August 23. And among all of this, I start back to school on August 19. I will graduate in May though, so I am actually looking forward to going back and getting these last two semesters completed.
