Work is still work. We are both still at our same jobs with Alltel/Verizon. We really don't have any new updates, so we will continue to go to work there until they make us leave or some great offer comes from somewhere else.
So, since the last post, we have done quite a bit of traveling through the state of Louisiana. One weekend, we made the trip to Shreveport to visit with Uncle Dickie & Aunt Gail. Grammy, Poppa and Grandma Dink joined us there. We had a great visit. Ben and I also learned how to play Mexican Train Dominos and loved it. Maddie got to go to the duck pond and feed the ducks and geese. We fed them two whole loaves of bread. By the time we were done, the ducks were full and showed that by actually swimming away from the bread. Pictures below.
Two weekends ago, we went to Alexandria for the weekend and attended the Krewe of Mariposa Mardi Gras Ball with Ben's aunt and uncle, Corma and Marty. We had a great time there also as we got all dolled up and danced the night away to an awesome band. Seriously, any band that can sing a Wayne Toups song followed by a Kanye West song, is good. It really was a great night and we are already looking forward to next year. Picture below:
This past weekend was spent in Des Allemands/New Orleans for Mardi Gras. Maddie had more fun this year than ever. She was throwing her arms up and screaming for beads better than anyone. She caught a whole garbage bag full, so I guess those will go into the attic in another plastic bin and be held until Ben decides to on a float one year. It was also just fun in itself to visit with Uncle Tommy & Aunt Gail (who put us up and put up with us), Grammy & Poppa, Andy & Jay, and the rest of the Des Allemands family. 
We hope this post finds everyone doing well. Oh, one more thing. Congratulations to my little shadow, my cousin Casey (and her husband Justin), on the birth of their son, Lucas!!!!
