It's been a while.

Wow....it really has been a while since I've posted. We are officially settled into the new house and working out the kinks including a tree that fell in the back yard and took out part of the new privacy fence. Ben is working to get that fixed though and should be finished this weekend. Maddie is getting used to the new place and her new bedroom. She has been making very good use of the pool.

Now, on the job front. Alltel is selling to Verizon and the deal is expected to close sometime after December 12. Yes, we will probably both be out of a job, but that's okay. We think we have until at least March before anything will happen. We don't know where the Lord is going to put us, whether He'll keep us in Arkansas or not, but we are going to rely on Him to keep or move us where He wants us. On the positive, we both still absolutely love our jobs and what we do, so it helps to keep going to work doing what we enjoy.

Maddie is growing by leaps and bounds and getting smarter every day. She tells us so much stuff that we had no idea she knew. We are very proud parents.

So, I know I haven't given a lot of info on here, but we lead pretty normal lives where not a lot happens. That's a good thing, right? So, if you are driving around or through Benton, Arkansas, please stop by and see us. We love company, just don't expect a clean house. If you're reading this, you are considered a friend and shouldn't care how clean my house is anyway. I will be e-mailing our new address out tonight also for those who don't have it. I would post it on here, but who knows what crazy idiot might use it against us.
