Back to the Campground

We took our first camping trip of the season this past weekend. We went back to Murfreesboro, AR to visit the Crater of Diamonds. We dug in the dirt a lot and came out with some Agate, Calcite and Crystal Quartz, but no diamonds. Maddie and Parker Grace had a blast though. Ben and I must also admit, we had a good time too. The weather was nice, not too hot, not too cold during the day.

Me, Ben and Maddie started the day off with a 1-mile walk down a trail (Maddie rode her bike) that led us to the Little Missouri River. Ben almost fell in after sliding down an embankment, which gave Maddie and I quite a few laughs. He got quite muddy and we were able to put that outdoor shower to good use.

Michael, Cill and Parker came to dig with us Saturday afternoon and had dinner with us Saturday night. Burgers and Hot Dogs! The girls put on a singing show for us, using the picnic table platform as their stage. Parker took a fall (with the help of Maddie), off the back of the picnic table, but lucky enough had a hard enough head to only have a knot.

We came home yesterday afternoon. As for the house being for sale. Things are going well. We have had 5 showings and one offer. We really did not expect an offer after only being on the market for 2 weeks, but the Lord knows what he is doing, so we are going with it. Now, we just have to pass inspection and appraisal. With all of that going on, we will be house hunting for the next few weeks. If all goes as planned, we would close on May 19. Keep us in your prayers. One that the house sale goes through okay and two, that we can find a suitable house to move to in that time. We'll keep you updated on all of it as it happens or as time allows.
